The village became completely independent during the 18th century, as evidenced by the oldest seal of the village, which is marked in the circle in 1787. The seal expresses the agricultural character of the village. This seal was used until the second half of the 19th century.
In 1828, there were 82 houses and 596 inhabitants in Králové Brod. The inhabitants were engaged in agriculture.
In the 90s of the 20th century in the village was built technical infrastructure. At present, there are more private entrepreneurs who are mainly engaged in agricultural production. The business community in the village is represented with several types of services. The local parts of Slovenské Pole and Máčonáš are administratively attached to the village.
