The church was built from the parishioners' own funds, from the collection, which began in 1930, lasted 3 years and 580 thousand crowns were collected. The church stands on the original site of the old church, from which some statues and paintings have been relocated and are its decoration and monument. The church was consecrated by the Bishop of Trnava, ThDr. Pavel Jantausch on October 6, 1934. It is located at the end of the village towards Sereď.
