In the production of wine, we try to leave the wines their natural character by using only natural yeasts, which are found in the berries of grapes.
The processing and production of wine takes place using modern technologies, but we like to experiment with the fermentation process. The unique character and minerality of our wines is given by the tuff and andesite subsoil originating from the volcanic eruptions of the Štiavnica Hills.
History
In our winery we place emphasis on tradition. The first written mention of our family dates back to 1665 with the birth of Jakub Uhnák (1665 - 1772) in Tchaikovsky.
Since then, our family has been associated with viticulture and winemaking in the Tekov region. Today, the company Anton Uhnák is run by the 12th generation of the family Ing. Anton Uhnák with his father Anton and brother-in-law Ľuboš Kollár.
