The church is built in the northern part of the village on the hill Háj. Its foundations, as well as the building material, are "Bavarian" stone and only a small part of the brick. The church is oriented with the sanctuary to the east. The manuscript records of the former pastor Ernest Bokor state that “... we do not know when the church was built. I think in the 16th century and always only in this place. " Church of St. Martin in Hradiště pod Vrátnom was consecrated by Bishop Imrich Lössy of Great Britain on November 12, 1631.
