In the past, there was probably a castle here, which is indicated by ramparts in the terrain under the rock. There is also a small cave.

Pottery shards from the 10th-11th centuries were also found in the inner villa and extra villa of the village west of the Mariáš spring, above the chapel of the Holy Trinity, at an elevation of 351 m. according to recent findings of shards and iron arrowheads in the area fortified by a rampart and a moat, the existence of a medieval castle from before the 15th century can be assumed here.
