According to Wikipedia, the statue was erected by Juraj Lukáček in 1867 for the fact that no cattle died during the plague. In the cartouche of the slender pedestal is an illegible inscription of the founder of the statue. Until the repair in 2009, the statue of St. Vendelina in very poor condition, her hand and all the attributes were missing.
