Halda Maximilán - one of the largest artificial, man-made hills in Europe. It has a lookout point that can be reached via the mining trail from the center of Špana Dolina. From its top, there is a wonderful panoramic view of the whole of Spain Valley with the central landmark, the Church of the Transfiguration, of the surrounding mountains and the distant ends of the Kremnické Hills.
