On the edge of the village, it stands on the site of an older prison, which is mentioned in the visitation report from 1788. The older prison, in the shape of a tall four-sided brick pillar, was in the care of the village, its four windows were empty. Today's mill was rebuilt out of gratitude for the end of cholera, which broke out after the Prussian-Austrian war in 1866. The mill was slightly relocated during the construction of a road around the village between 1939 and 1942.
