The hunter Viktor Haluzický was shot dead by the poacher Štefan Skála in the forest above Rača in Bratislava on April 5, 1941. The monument was made by the members of POS (Shortly before, the abbreviation LOS - Hunting Protection Society was still used). Original bronze relief with St. Hubert was broken out of the monument by a vandal and thrown in the forest sometime in the second half of the 90s. Tramp Brnkaj found it and handed it in at the local office. According to the relief, tourists from the Železničiar Bratislava club made a new cast, which they ceremoniously installed on the monument on April 7, 2000.
