The hunter Viktor Haluzický was shot dead by the poacher Štefan Skála in the forest above Rača in Bratislava on April 5, 1941. A considerable number of gendarmes and soldiers participated in the pursuit of the poacher, who Š. They finally caught up to Skála and after a fight, they shot him on April 19, 1941. On April 4, 1948, the chairman of the Bratislava Poľovnícke protection association, Juraj Tvarožek, revealed to V. Haluzické a stone monument in the form of a mound at the place of his death in the Zálistok locality.

The monument was made by the members of POS (Shortly before, the abbreviation LOS - Hunting Protection Society was still used). Original bronze relief with St. Hubert was broken out of the monument by a vandal and thrown in the forest sometime in the second half of the 90s. Tramp Brnkaj found it and handed it in at the local office. According to the relief, tourists from the Železničiar Bratislava club made a new cast, which they ceremoniously installed on the monument on April 7, 2000.
