History_
From the very birth and beginnings in the garage, through the first successes, to the new premises and the present.
2004-2007_
Our story began to be written in 2004. The idea of the company arose in Vladimír Huček's head as a reaction to the unavailability of downhill and freeride bikes.
The determination to change the world began in the garage. Those were such "partisan" times full of the unknown.
We started with the first prototype with a planetary gearbox and a 20 mm rear axle.
In the same year, the first downhill hardtail MURO was born.
2007-2009_
A new era of production and transformation of production processes has arrived.
We started the production of full suspension PROTEUS frames, which were on a single-pivot platform.
In these years, we also launched the production of the APOPHIS frame series, designed by the rider Jamatono.
At the same time, we ended the production of frames with the MURO label, and the new CERBEROS series was created.
2009 - 2012_
The Devilwork racing team was founded and in the same year we started building the Devilwork bikepark Košútka, which opened its doors in 2011 and operated under our auspices until 2015.
Bikepark subsequently took over the Absolute racing team under the patronage of Ján Halaj.
Instead of the APOPHIS frame, the NYX frame came and the NECROMANCER frame was added to it.
2014 - 2019_
In these years, all series of frames were renamed. A series of 10th anniversary frames was produced. The fundamental difference occurred in the change of the brand name to Devonic - DEVilwork will be icONIC.
In addition to all this, in these years we did not miss moving to new premises with an area of 200 m2, where we also implemented new projects in cooperation with KINAZO Design on the production of the first 3D printed electric bike in the world.
The AREA9 video was filmed, which premiered in the Košútka bike park.
Subsequently came the presentation of HT models FATE, CORTEZ and FS models TECTON and FACTOR.
Besides other production, we also started producing frames for other beginning manufacturers who were trying to materialize their dreams just like we did 15 years ago.
2019 - 2022_
We spent the years marked by the pandemic and the cycling boom working on two unique projects - Babetta where we had the opportunity to collaborate on development and prototyping - www.babetta.eu and the project of a unique children's growing bicycle Devonic Former. Talented student Michal Štalmach approached us with this project and together we managed to win 4 awards at three design competitions
