In this building, generations of local children learned to read, write and count. It has undergone several renovations over the years to be maintained and preserved for future generations. Although it no longer serves as a school, it still has significant cultural significance. The local community often uses it for cultural events, exhibitions or as a meeting place for residents, and it is also home to a specialized facility for children with autism spectrum disorders and a public library. It is a monument to the time when education was a key element in the development of rural areas. The former old school in Hrnčiarovce nad Parnou reminds of the past, when education was considered a valuable gift and a symbol of development. It is a place that unites generations and preserves the memory of the history and development of this small Slovak village.
