On the way to the castle in front of the chapel of Our Lady of the Snows, a wooden cross was restored (probably newly built) in the second decade of the new century. At the same time, they placed a large sculpture of Christ on it, which replaced the previous sheet metal body. According to a chronicler's record, the cross was restored in 1933. According to a surviving photograph, it has existed at least since the beginning of the last century in approximately the same form as today.
