The neighboring Dubnica nad Váhom has been writing its history since the end of the 12th century. The regional town of Trenčín, only 12 kilometers away, is one of the oldest towns in Slovakia. Thanks to the strategically advantageous location of the place, they have built the beautiful Trenčín Castle, which has been preserved to this day.
