At present, the village has 296 inhabitants and farms in the cadastre with an area of 1300 ha.
There are three mineral springs in the village. Two in the Protected Landscape Area - Valalská voda and one in the Loziny area. Before entering the village is a protected cultural monument Chapel of St. Jehoshaphat.
It is appropriate to say about the cadastre of the village that it is located on the back of the Central European watershed. There is a stream on each side of the back. One heads north and flows into the North Sea and the other south and flows into the Black Sea.
In recent years, the village is more modernized and promoted by cultural activities. After a 20-year break, the Ruthenian folklore festival was renewed and the tradition continues. As part of anti-flood measures, projects from the Landscape Revitalization and Integrated Management Program were implemented. A bridge was rebuilt near the Greek Catholic parish and another new bridge was built over the Valalská voda stream. The Prešov self-governing region and its cross-border cooperation projects enabled the municipality to build a natural amphitheater and a multifunctional playground in the area of the former primary school. The projects Introduction and Operation of High-Speed Internet and Reconstruction and Modernization of Public Lighting were also successfully implemented. In the next period, within the Programming Period 2014-2020, the municipality focuses on the repair of public buildings and infrastructure.
