The civic association Centrum Skalka, oz was established as a voluntary interest organization. The association works on the basis of voluntary, self-help activities of its members. He raises money for all his activities and activities. It is not a budgetary organization, it is not supported or financed by the local government, the church, any other institution or a political party.
The aim of the association is to enable informal meetings, exchange of experiences and finding new friendships between children, young people, adults and seniors.
It offers programs for families with children:
- programs for preschool children with a focus on the development of the child's personality, on the child's adaptation to a new environment, on natural integration into the team
- leading and arranging leisure activities for children and youth in the field of languages, social sciences, aesthetics, ethics, science and technology, physical education and sports,
- organizing cultural, social and sporting events, trips and camps, stays abroad, educational programs,
- organizing seminars on healthy lifestyles in the spirit of Christian education,
- courses for pregnant women and breastfeeding support,
- assistance to families in the field of education and training of children, as well as in solving problems,
- support for the education of families, spouses, children and young people,
- develop the social skills of parents so that they can successfully apply for a job in the future,
- create space for multi-generational communication,
- professional counseling, to provide direct and mediated services especially in social, legal and psychological counseling, in social legal protection, in information-communication and educational area.
The Skalka Center strives to make accessible to disabled children and create space for their integration, to mediate meetings with people with the same problems for parents of disabled children. It also organizes and mediates leisure activities for children from socially disadvantaged families. It creates space for single parents to acquire new social skills.
