A visit to the Contact ZOO is unique in that, accompanied by nurses, the visitor comes into unrepeatable contact with the animals. They will learn interesting things from animal life and answers to questions that many are interested in.
The ZOO is located next to the Tatralandia Aquapark, only a 5-minute drive from the center of Liptovský Mikuláš and about a 25-minute drive from the Jasná Nízke Tatry ski resort.
At the contact ZOO, visitors will get to know the life of more than 400 animals from 115 species up close. It is very attractive to see up close the cubs - bear, lion, tiger, cougar, serval and lynx. Not only children enjoy a stay around the aviary with tame parrots, squirrels, ground squirrels and marmots. Even monkeys in this ZOO can be fed and get to know the life of Japanese macaques, the life of a maple, a cat or a marmoset.
The exposition of tame foxes is also unique, where ordinary foxes are waiting for visitors, but also polar foxes or Berber females. Although Australia is in the opposite hemisphere, thanks to the contact paddock with tame kangaroos, visitors will also see the world of these exotic animals. The zoo also offers demonstrations of free flight of birds of prey and much more.
During the visit to the ZOO, it is possible to feed the animals and take pictures with them, or record a short video. Children have the opportunity to ride horses or ponies. The number of animals and species in the zoo is constantly growing.
For larger, pre-ordered groups, the ZOO is able to provide professional accompaniment in the Polish language.
Contact ZOO is located in Liptovský Mikuláš, in the beautiful mountain region of Liptov. It is surrounded by the Low, Western and High Tatras, Choč Hills and lies on the northern bank of the Liptovská Mara reservoir, at the Tatralandia Aquapark, directly opposite the Liptov Arena.
