F. Totku was detained during the unsuccessful third group crossing of the Salesians. In 1952, he was sentenced to 22 years in prison. He was released after an amnesty in 1961.
On December 1, 1953, a Czechoslovak border guard shot J. Bízek while crossing the border on his illegal return to Slovakia.
On May 12, 1955, J. Macek was arrested and sentenced to 20 years in prison. He got cancer after working in uranium mines. He was released from prison in 1964 after a difficult prognosis, but died a year later.
