The original local sacral building consisted only of a small chapel, which was built by Michal Počuch, a peasant from Smolenice. The year 1733 is considered to be the year of construction. The chapel was extended by the parish priest Juraj Hruškovič. The church tower was added in 1788. The tower is finished with an onion tin roof with a Latin cross. In the tower there are bells from 1740 and 1745. Church of St. Michal Archangel is entered in the Central List of Cultural Monuments.
