The border bridge over the Morava River in the cadastre of Moravský Svätý Ján serves motorists, pedestrians and cyclists on their way to the neighboring town of Hohenau in Austria. The bridge is interesting in that, thanks to four motors located on the edges of the bridge, it can be lifted up to a maximum of 160 cm. The lift of the bridge is used for the passage of icebreakers and vessels of the Morava River Basin during annual parades on the Morava River. So far, however, the bridge is lifted only during regular inspections and tests of the lifting equipment.
