It was declared protected in 1982, amended in 1996 for its cultural, scientific, ecological, landscape and aesthetic significance. A summer oak with a trunk circumference of 471 cm, a height of 23 m, a crown diameter of 28 m and an age of 200 years. It grows in the center of the village behind the Slovenská sporiteľna building near the World War I monument.
