The newer Roman Catholic Church of the Name of the Virgin Mary from 1954 stands in the village near the Municipal Office on Hlavná Street. The Feast of the Name of the Virgin Mary has been celebrated for a long time. The expansion to the entire Church took place in the 17th century, when Christian Europe was threatened by the wild Turks. They besieged Vienna for two months. The decisive battle took place on September 12, 1683 near Vienna, when the Turks were defeated head on. Holiday on September 12.
