Because the old cultural house, the barn nicknamed by the locals, was evaluated by the new administrative regime as insufficient, it was decided that a new cultural house would be built. Construction began in 1968. The grand opening of the new cultural house was May 8, 1976. Although the new cultural house became the new center of municipal administration, the old cultural house was still used for some municipal and cultural events.
