The Jewish synagogue is located near the center of Spišské Podhradie. It was built in 1875 in the late Gothic style with elements inspired by oriental architecture. After the fire, it was repaired in the years 1905 - 1906. The synagogue is a simple building with Moorish elements that served a small Orthodox village and is a typical example of provincial synagogue architecture of the 19th century.
