Under the name Spišský Jeruzalem, there is a unique model landscape in the Spiš-Podhradské locality of Pažiť, which is similar in structure to the real Middle Eastern Jerusalem. This model landscape, consisting of several sacral buildings symbolizing historical objects connected with the last moments of the life of Jesus Christ, was built between 1666 and 1675 by Jesuit monks. They did so because at the time, due to the wars with the Turks, the people could not get to the Holy Land.
