The statue of St. John of Nepomuk was made by J. Sloboda in 1767. He laid a base for it worth 60 gold. The money was rented to Jozef Palkovič, who paid interest every year to the statue. Of these, 2 gold coins were intended for the pastor for the sung Mass for the donor of the statue and 30 denarii for the assistant rector for playing the organ. The current interest rate could have been 5 or 6% at that time, it probably did not increase much for the maintenance itself.
