The pillars of the bridge are made of blocks of fine sandstone and, according to experts, they are also in relatively good condition with regard to the age of the bridge. However, their surface is weathered. A similar problem applies to other parts - the so-called supports and arches. The three-arched bridge is made of bricks, which, however, are gradually replaced by a new filling. The restorers assume that the bridge acquired its current form much later - the surface parts - the masonry with a crown cornice, originally probably also a stone one, are the result of younger modifications of the bridge. In the past, the surface of similar bridges was formed by granite cubes. Until recently, the bridge performed its function - fifty-five years ago, geese and ducks were stalking under it in the drying arm of Váh. This is finally evidenced by the name of the site, which is motivated by the shape of the original arm and derived from the Latin word trulla, or pan. This is one of the reasons why the name Trulaska is mentioned in many maps (apropos, Latin origin also has the name of the neighboring locality - Paradajs - derived on the basis of the originally lush vegetation around Váh from the word paradiso - paradise).
