PERMANENT EXHIBITION OF ANDY WARHOL'S WORKS Consists of original works by Andy Warhol lent to a museum by the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts in New York, collections by private collectors, and works owned by the museum. The exhibition represents all creative periods of the artist, including his dominant artistic themes. The exhibition consists of about 200 works of art.
THE PERMANENT EXHIBITION ABOUT ANDY WARHOL'S ORIGIN consists of valuable authentic materials, artifacts obtained or borrowed from the artist's survivors and relatives, documents and props that testify to his Ruthenian origin. The most valuable artifacts in this exhibition include an authentic shirt in which the sons of Julia and Andrej Warhol were baptized, a portrait of Julius Warhol, according to which Andy Warhol made a famous painting of his mother using serigraphy, an artist's camera, tape recorder, sunglasses, artist's clothing and more.
STANDING EXPOSURE STREET-ART VS. POP-ART This exhibition is most recently enriched with works by Keith Haring, who met Andy Warhol in person. You can see the originals of this important artist in Slovakia only in MMUAW. They are borrowed from private collectors and are currently exhibited in the permanent exhibition of the museum for at least 5 years. In this exhibition, visitors have the opportunity to see, among other things, works of art by no less important authors such as Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Indiana, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Poppy, Bambi and others. This exhibition is unique of its kind.
