Since 1995, the Artfilm International Film Festival has awarded actors to outstanding contribution to the art of film in the Actor's Mission Award. The award is presented by a brass plaque with the name, which the awarded actors personally attach to the Bridge of Fame in Trenčianske Teplice. The ACTOR´S MISSION AWARD has so far been accepted by 41 leading world and domestic actors: 1995: Franco Nero 1996: Gina Lollobrigida, Alberto Sordi, Jozef Kroner 1997: Geraldine Chaplin, Vlastimil Brodský 1998: Mari Törőcsik, Erland Josephson, Annie Girardot 1999: Iva Janžurová, Michele Placido, Daniel Olbrychski, Sophia Loren 2000: Ladislav Chudík, Jana Brejchová, Catherine Deneuve 2001: Jiří Bartoška, Emília Vášáryová, Jean-Paul Belmondo 2002: Božidara Turzonovová, Bolek Polívka, Ornella Muti 2003: Klaus Maria Brandauer, György Cserhalmi, Jiřina Bohdalová, Jerzy Stuhr 2004: Květa Fialová, Štefan Kvietik 2005: Dagmar Veškrnová-Havlová, Nastassja Kinski 2006: Lubomír Lipský, Jacqueline Bisset 2007: Isabelle Huppert, Mirjana Karanović, Marián Labuda 2008: Chiara Caselli, Omar Sharif , Ivan Palúch, Liv Ullmann 2009: Jeremy Irons, Jaromír Hanzlík 2010: Gérard Depardieu, Milan Kňažko, Josef Abrhám. You can see brass plaques with award-winning personalities up to and including 2008 on the Bridge of Fame in front of the Bridge of Fame Hotel in Trenčianske Teplice. Since 2009, the new Bridge of Fame in the spa park in Trenčianske Teplice has been used for this purpose.
