The Slovak National Museum of Ľudovít Štúr is located in the center of Modra, Emreszovská dom. The Slovak National Museum of Ľudovít Štúr is located in the center of Modra, Emreszovská dom. The house belonged to the family of Karol Štúr's wife, and in which Ľudovít Štúr spent a lot of time raising his brother's sons, when in In 1851 he moved to Modra. Here is the main exhibition Ľudovít Štúr - from study to action , which presents a cross-section of the life and works of Ľ. Štúra set in specific historical contexts. Represented by Ľ. Štúr also from his personal and human side through the testimonies of his contemporaries, as well as the current view of the scientific and professional public. The exhibition contains unique personal items not only of Ľ. Štúr, but also Jozef Miloslav Hurban and Ján Kalinčiak, together with the works of Slovak visual artists and written documentary material.

Memorial room Ľ. Štúra recalls the last years of his life in Modra and the circumstances of his tragic death.

In the exhibition spaces on the ground floor, temporary exhibitions, either in-house or traveling, are made available, which are prepared by individual organizational units of the SNM from their collection funds.

The Museum of Slovak Ceramic Sculpture was built with EU funds as part of the Cross-Border Cooperation Program Slovak Republic - Austria 2007-2013. It is located in an old vineyard house in a picturesque corner in close proximity to the city walls from the 17th century and together with the Ignác Bizmayer Gallery forms one closed whole. Currently, visitors are offered the exhibition With feeling in their hands - contemporary potters in Burgenland and the Bratislava region.

The Ignác Bizmayer Gallery presents a representative selection of the master of figural ceramic creations. It is located in the rotunda bastion of the city fortifications from the 17th century.
