A black walnut (Juglans nigra) in the castle park with an estimated age of 300 years, a height of 25 m and a trunk girth of 620 cm took third place in the all-Slovak Tree of the Year 2012 poll with 2,146 votes. It is probably the largest tree of its kind in Slovakia.
