. In 1933, after the construction of a new neighborhood on the hill, the parish of Bratislava - Kalvária was established, whose parish church became the original chapel of Our Lady of the Snow. The relatively small building was not enough for the growing parish, so it was replaced by a reinforced concrete sacral building between 1943 and 1948.
