The Pieta statue from 1814 stands near the church of Our Lady of the Snows. In 2014, it was restored by the Petra Civic Association. The funds for the restoration were obtained by the association from donations. The statue was restored by Richard Grega and Martin Orth free of charge. The renewed Pieta was consecrated on October 22, 2014, and by the end of the aforementioned year, a modern wrought-iron fence was installed around it.
