The Hoste sports and shooting club was established in 1998 and currently has 23 members. Since its inception, its members have begun to build a shooting range in the extra-urban area of the village of Hoste, which they are building and managing to this day.

The ŠSK Hoste shooting range is, in accordance with the expert opinion from the firearms and explosives department, approved for:
short and long small caliber weapons (small calibers, pistols and revolvers)
short and long ancestors,
historical weapons and their replicas
small arms without caliber restrictions
long hunting bullets and shotguns (shooting only)
mechanical weapons (bows, crossbows)
gas weapons (air rifles)
airsoft and paintball guns
Depending on the type of shooting (parkour, aimed shooting, shooting), it is possible to shoot at the ŠSK Hoste shooting range at a distance of 5 m - 50 m from the catch wall.
