Since 1941, the regular activity of a football club, bearing the name FK Čataj, has begun. In 1951, the club took the name Telovýchovná jednota Družstevník Čataj and JRD became its sponsor. In the same year, the construction of a football field on the main road towards Igram, which still serves today, began. In 1970, sports booths began to be built on the sports field. At present, ŠK Čataj has three teams. And the Čataj team - seniors, preparation and the team of old gentlemen.
