The Sološnický stream, which springs in the Little Carpathians, flows through the village, partly fed by several springs (Holba grunty, Tmavá, Hoštúnek….)
The beautiful surroundings become a destination for tourists who admire the gates of Malá and Veľká Vápenná, as well as the state nature reserve - Roštún. The reservation is located in the cadastral area of Sološnice and Plavecký Podhradie. The ridge of Veľká Vápenná and Čertova dolina belongs to the area. It was declared in 1953 on an area of 109 hectares. The new decree of 1988 changed the boundaries. Today it has an area of 333.31 ha. It was established to protect karst phenomena and preserved forest communities of the Little Carpathians with protected and endangered species.
