The village of Malé Uherce

The village and land of the royal servants, belonging to the Oslian district, has been mentioned since 1274. However, the local area was inhabited in the Neolithic.

For centuries, the inhabitants have subsisted mostly on farmers. The name of the village has been a variation of today's throughout history. In 1971, Malé Uherce was even annexed to Partizánske, but 23 years later they became independent again by referendum. Tourist attractions include the Church of St. Anny from the 18th century and a baroque chapel from the same period.
