Let me introduce myself to you briefly. My name is Roman Kuchta, I live with my family in the village of Budmerice. I know from my father's story that our family comes from Central Slovakia and I probably inherited from my ancestors a love of fujara - this unique musical instrument. Although the fujár tradition is tied to Central Slovakia, I found my way to it in my home village near Bratislava.

As the grandson and son of a carpenter, I traditionally have a desire to work with wood for generations. The relationship to music and the musical foundations that I acquired as a boy by studying at ĽUŠ give me the opportunity to see in wood other than just the material and utilitarian use of wood. Gaining experience and reading the literature, I wanted to continue the tradition of our ancestors and inhale the wood in the form of fujara "soul". And so I became a producer of fujar and shepherd's whistles. The depth of the fujara's voice, the density of the wood and the precision of the elaboration will appeal to the being in its true essence. People have no idea what vibration can do with the human soul in the deepest positions. The human subconscious is open and the universe is within reach.
