At this point, it is necessary to emphasize that OKC as an institution is specific in that it actively creates space in its facilities for cultural activities in the field of leisure activities of citizens, as well as purposefully and dramaturgically provides cultural offerings of valuable programs of a wide range. This aspect needs to be constantly emphasized when evaluating a cultural institution in relation to other organizations.
Thanks to the constant support, our community can really boast of valuable cultural life and hobby activities. It is a contribution to the future, a meaningful contribution that will pay off in the coming years, and it is difficult to calculate exactly its benefits.
The subject of activities and main tasks of OKC are:
- provision of public benefit and cultural activities
- providing education for children, youth and adults
- creating conditions for association into interest groups
- organization of professional and amateur programs
- developing activities in the field of social life
- providing film screenings
- organizing festivities, organizing and carrying out festive events on the occasion of public holidays, important cultural and historical anniversaries
- providing citizens with up-to-date information and announcements
- by creating a Tourist Information Office, it will provide visitors to the village and its inhabitants with information services not only about the village, but also about the whole region
- support the development of tourism through its own promotional and information materials
To ensure these tasks, OKC uses the premises of a renovated cultural house and manor house, with all equipment and technical equipment.
