The story of roasting coffee The Golden Bean from Ivánka pri Dunaji is a story that begins in a roastery. However, not in a coffee roaster, but in a cocoa bean roaster. Here, two high school friends with boyish curiosity try to roast something from a purchased raw coffee.

After hundreds of trials and errors after hundreds of hours of training, and after many setbacks, Václav Faltus placed a bag of roasted coffee on the bar counter of an unnamed restaurant to try to offer it to people - no instructions for setting up a coffee grinder, no operating instructions, no barist advice. or tricks. Simply believing that when a person does something with love, people need to know it. And they knew it.

The owner of the restaurant soon came for another coffee, as the customers themselves warned the waiters that the coffee was suddenly "some different" and that they wanted such coffee. And so it is to this day. The good reputation with the love of roasted coffee has spread both in Slovakia and abroad. Despite the fact that Zlaté zrnko coffee won several awards abroad when we tasted it, we felt that it was not more of a pleasure for its author than when its coffee simply tastes and evokes positive emotions.

Golden Bean means the best of the coffee world. They buy the most expensive and best coffees from each country. The coffee blends are blended from 6 to 9 coffees to achieve the same taste at any time of year. In Pražiarna, they roast coffee originating from a farmer. Zlaté Zrnko was given the desire to make coffee of the highest quality available to the people and thus to establish a coffee roaster in Ivanka pri Dunaji, where they roast originating coffee and coffee blends. These coffees have different exceptional tastes every year. Since 2015, they have been discovering coffee treasures from all over the world.

Not only the smell and taste of the tasted coffee but also the answer to our question evoked a positive emotion in us: How did you get to roast coffee, Mr. Faltus? - "And what else would I do?" When one cannot even imagine doing something else, one must be a man without imagination or a man who loves his work. Václav Faltus is definitely not a man without imagination, he has developed more than 20 types of roasted coffee, which makes people's day more pleasant.
