Veľký Meder is one of the most important tourist centers in the south of Slovakia. The city is located on the largest river island in Europe - Rye Island. The international road 63 / E575 crosses the town and is 70 km away from Bratislava. Only 11 km from Veľký Meder is the border crossing to the Republic of Hungary. The swimming pool is open all year round daily from 9.00 to 21.00. Thermal water with a temperature of 57 to 72 ° C, springing from two springs, has beneficial effects on diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
